i am diagonally parked in a parrallel universe

so, my friend tom and i shot this short independent film. i wanted to title it "a karaoke singer", but tom wanted to call it "karaoke kim". as you can probably tell... i lost...

we are going to show it this saturday night. wish me luck...

the film is about this guy who lives for karaoke. it's kind of like saturday night fever except instead of disco dancing, this guy does the karaoke...

here are four of my favorite songs that i like to sing when i do karaoke...
1) redneck woman by gretchen wilson
2) shoop by salt and peppa
3) tyrone by eryka badu
4) billie jean by michael jackson

i have also tried the following, but did not go over too well...
1) no scrubs
2) genie in a bottle
3) i'm a slave four you
4) natural woman
5) i feel like a woman
6) i am woman

ummm... are you getting the theme i got going here... all i gotcha to say is that i am not gay. honest! if you are a woman and if you want me to prove that i am not gay. i will do it! come on, lets go! i will do it!

Beautiful artwork Larry.

Not gay huh? *holding up my left hand so Larry can see that there is no ring there*

I will be anxiously waiting for the film.

Your biggest fan,
Lilly

I know you're not gay. Betsy Radde is probably still wondering, but that's OK. We all make mistakes. Tony isn't gay, either. He just likes baseball too much to date. Are you and Tam still playing soccer? I've had 2 knee surgeries and still I'm no better of a player after all these years. I finally had to hang it up. No one cared when I left.

lilly, thanks. i am not ready to tie the knot just yet, but i ain't afraid to take my pants off and shout... if you know what i mean... hopefully i will be able to put the stupid film on youtube. if tom lets me do that, i will definitely post it.

steve, well, nobody else these days are playing soccer except for me. i think marriage and kids do that to people. i don't think they will care much if i left either, but i enjoy it too much to leave...

biscuit, you know that i can't bear to wound you, so i guess it's time for me to start working on thriller. but, don't think i am that easy, because i really am not... really... honest...

granny, they don't call me a man-ho for no reason ;-)

I was beginning to wonder. ;) Well, all that really matters is that you have fun. It's good that you're not afraid to show your feminine side. All men have a feminine side, just as all women have a masculine side.

I would love to see the film. I hope you can put it on youtube. Keep us updated, cutie!

Can anyone do "Genie in a Bottle" successfully? Your choices crack me up. I usually sing "Walking After Midnight" by Patsy Cline...or "You're So Vain." Would love to see your film. Glad you found my blog...as it drew me to yours. Having fun catching up on your recent posts!

catherine, believe me, i definitely have a feminine side, but not in a gay kind of way... geez, it sounds like i am homophobic.

laurzeilei, genie in a bottle is tough... i am not familiar with "walking after midnight", but i am familiar with "you're so vain", love carly simon...
