october, national breast awareness month

i got all excited about october because i heard that it was national breast awareness month. it turns out that it is actually national breast cancer awareness month. which is quite different from what i thought...

anyway, i wrote a poem to commemorate this occasion (actually, i wrote in honor of breastiese everywhere...)

thine ripening breasts glistening in beauty,
like starry stars in the night of cloudless sky.
and all that's best of dark and bright,
meet in thine bosom and recess into thy cleavage.

still steadfast, still unchangeable,
pillow'd upon my fair love's ripening breast,
to feel for ever its soft fall and swell,
awake for ever in a sweet unrest...

oh, bosom, oh thine bosom,
like crests upon earth's sea shore
or snow upon the mountain peaks
thine breasts live on forever
in my heart, for ever more...

amen...

An ode to boobs. I like it, Larry. Sheer talent. Sheer as in the bra the girl was wearing on the 2002 Boobiethon page! Yes, I clicked on the link!

allrighty, hot mama, i am going to check out that site. i can't do it right now because i am at work. i am going to have to wait till i get home...

laurzeilei, an ode to boobs... i like it. i think i should submit this poem to new yorker, don't you? maybe they weren't recognize that i stoled someone else's poem...

granny, you know that it's all about you, grrrl...

it's the little things, yeah actually, i think boobs trenscend time and space (therefore, i have covered the 80's without really spelling it out). boobs, i theorize, is that missing link that puts all aspect of science and biology into one universal fundamental disambiguation that can describe and dilineate all deterministic systems. if einstein would have spend more time studying boobs, he would have been able to travel back in time. so, what i am saying here is that i like big butts and i can not lie...

I think boobie poetry is going to be the next big thing. I mean, among heterosexual men, as opposed to lesbian woman who have been writing poems about their cooters for years now.
