paradise lost
hiding under a beach unberella, i spent my weekend reading a book. there were many distractions... sea breeze that i can almost taste, warm sand forming perfectly around my feet, silly girls walking in groups laughing...
there was a woman with couple of kids struggling to carry all her belongings, but i did not get up to help. i was positive some other guy would help her... and someone did. she didn't even seem that appreciative, i guess that is just a sign of being an attractive woman.... never appreciate others help... and take everything for granted...
there is a music playing in my head. it's not a happy song. it's sad, yet sweet. i would do anything... i would do anything... for love...
the weekend was peaceful and i did enjoy my self induced boredom. some may call it serenity. i call it boredom. i do love dreaming of love that can never be... i do love living my life outside... watching others live their lives... like watching some tv show in the middle, not knowing the beginning or the ending... just seeing a small part with no plot...

Larry,
What were you reading?
The seaside is one of my favorite places to go.or.to daydream about.
I don't know what it is but I feel so drawn to the seaside! Why is that? I also get a very melancholy feeling just thinking about it. Did you go to Florida or where? Seems you mentioned it sometime or the other recently..not certain.
Have you ever been to Cape Hatteras? I love it there...I really get blue thinking about that place though. What is it?
I just don't understand! Makes me wonder.
justme, thank you
suzanne, i was reading a book titled as simple as snow... i liked it. i was in florida. i have not been to cape hatteras, i have never even heard of it, to be honest.
if you hold a rat loosely in your hand it will struggle and struggle until it gets away. if you hold it tightly, restricting movement, in a few minutes it will release it's will and accept its fate...
Well, I don't know if I agree with sojourning crow, but oh well, what does someone like me know?
Anyway, I'll peek at your book! I was thinking of my next book.
You might want to go to Cape Hatteras sometime. I had never heard of it either..it is on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.. look on the internet...you might like it...largest working lighthouse in the US and it is really beautiful and you can go up in it and all that...neat place.
If you go, I think a part of me was left there and maybe you'll find that part, only...leave it some of me there, cause I think I want to go back to find her! :)
Boy, do I need some rest or what?
